ABOUT THE CEO
Meet Karla Coleman
A Career Built on Partnership and Purpose
Karla's journey in workforce development began in the education and admissions world — working with colleges and training institutions across the Southeast and beyond. Over time, she realized that individual institutions, no matter how strong, couldn't solve workforce challenges alone.
She moved into national workforce development leadership roles — first at MedCerts, then at Health Tech Academy, and then as the founding National Director of Workforce Development at Zollege — where she built a workforce development department from the ground up and exceeded every revenue and partnership goal set.
Across every role, the common thread was clear: when the right partners work together workforce boards, training providers, employers, and colleges communities get stronger.
That conviction became Opportunity Bridges — founded in 2026 to turn possibility into practice.
